Does anybody know which third party console works best with homebrews? I'm looking for a console that has HDMI output for a capture card but also plays homebrews. I've heard certain third party consoles like the Retron5 don't play homebrews, so i'm tryin to avoid buying one that doesn't. Any suggestions guys??

There's this Pokemon mythical purple homebrew for gameboy color you start with mew and your rival gets pikachu its basically a reversed Pokemon yellow cause your rival shows up late the other 3 Pokemon was stolen by team rocket and your rival always has pikachu standing behind him when you meet up after returning with the parcel for prof oak. You fight him for the 1st time . Initially you fight meowth with Jesse and James who steals the other 2 after defeating you meowth is level 23 your not going to win with any level 5 unfortunately but its pretty fun and has all 150 wild in it . You start with mew so complete pokedex 151 is possible squirtle ,charmander and bulbasaur wind up in the arcade only 1 each though afterwards the spot has tms or other Pokemon
